Optometric Vision Care in the Pediatric population |
You are invited to participate in an anonymous on-line survey that investigates the provision of vision care in the pediatric population. We are interested in your recommendations and practice regarding first eye examinations for young children. The survey questions focus on your pediatric care and management, and your personal and practice profile. We anticipate that it will take about 10-15 minutes of your time. By volunteering for this study, you will allow us to explore optometric care provided to pediatric patients and promote awareness of eye care in this population.
We undertook a similar survey in 2007 and we are interested in investigating if there are any changes since that date. We are inviting you to take part in the current survey whether or not you participated in 2007.
You will be completing the study by a secure online service called REDCap. When information is transmitted over the internet privacy cannot be guaranteed. There is always a small risk your responses may be intercepted by a third party (e.g., government agencies, hackers). However, your identity is not seen by either REDCap or the researchers of this study. If you need to stop before finishing, you can return where you left off in the survey by clicking on the link again from the same device.
For the full information about the study see the link to the pdf attachment below where you can download and save the Letter of Information for your records
Starting the survey indicates that you read the above information and you voluntarily agree to participate.
